Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

At Mon + Co, we want our refund and cancellation arrangements to be clear before you book.

This Refund Policy applies to services purchased from Mon + Co Agency Pty Ltd (ABN 87 658 846 596) through Mon + Co and The VM Edit.

It should be read together with our Booking Policy and, for services purchased online, our Online Booking Terms & Conditions.

1. Change of Mind

Unless otherwise stated, we don't generally provide refunds simply because you change your mind after a service or program has commenced.

Before a service commences, your ability to cancel, reschedule or receive a refund depends on the service you've booked and the notice you provide.

Those arrangements are set out in our Booking Policy.

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. 1-on-1 Video Calls

If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled session, you may reschedule or request a refund.

If you cancel within 24 hours, a refund may not be available where the reserved time cannot reasonably be rebooked.

If you don't attend your scheduled session without notice, the session will be treated as used and a refund will not generally be provided.

3. Keynote Speaker Bookings

If you cancel more than 30 days before the event, amounts paid will be refunded less reasonable preparation costs and non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.

For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before the event, any refund will take into account preparation already undertaken, reserved time that cannot reasonably be rebooked and committed costs.

For cancellations within 14 days, up to the full speaker fee may remain payable where the reserved date cannot reasonably be rebooked.

Approved travel, accommodation and other costs already committed and unable to be recovered may be deducted from any refund or remain payable.

Where possible, we'll work with you to reschedule the booking before treating it as cancelled.

4. Half Day In-Store Workshops

If you cancel more than 7 days before the workshop, amounts paid will be refunded less reasonable preparation and non-refundable costs already incurred.

For cancellations within 7 days, any refund will take into account preparation, committed team time that cannot reasonably be reallocated and other costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.

For same-day cancellations, or where our team has already commenced travel or attended the agreed location, up to the full workshop fee may remain payable.

Where possible, we'll work with you to reschedule before treating the workshop as cancelled.

5. Full Day Masterclasses

If you cancel more than 14 days before the masterclass, amounts paid will be refunded less reasonable preparation and non-refundable costs already incurred.

For cancellations between 7 and 14 days, any refund will take into account preparation, reserved time that cannot reasonably be rebooked and committed costs.

For cancellations within 7 days, up to the full masterclass fee may remain payable where the reserved date cannot reasonably be rebooked.

Approved travel, accommodation, venue, materials and other committed costs that cannot reasonably be recovered may be deducted from any refund or remain payable.

Where possible, we'll work with you to reschedule before treating the masterclass as cancelled.

6. VM Mentoring – 3 & 6 Month Programs

Our 3-month and 6-month VM Mentoring programs are fixed-term programs.

You can choose to pay the program fee upfront or, where offered, by monthly installments.

Choosing monthly installments is a payment arrangement for the total program fee. It does not turn the program into a month-to-month subscription that can be cancelled at any time.

Once your mentoring program has commenced, we don't generally provide a refund simply because you change your mind or decide not to continue. If you selected monthly installments, the remaining installments continue to be payable, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We understand circumstances can change. If something significant affects your ability to continue, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we may agree to pause, reschedule or otherwise adjust your program.

Individual mentoring sessions are subject to the rescheduling and cancellation arrangements in our Booking Policy, including the requirement to provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a session.

7. Upfront Payment Discounts

Where you choose an upfront-payment option at a discounted price and a partial refund is payable, the refund will be calculated fairly having regard to:

  • the amount you actually paid;

  • the portion of the program or service already provided; and

  • any reasonable costs already committed that cannot be recovered.

Any calculation remains subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Travel, Materials & Third-Party Costs

Approved travel, accommodation, venue hire, materials and other third-party costs that have already been committed and cannot reasonably be cancelled or recovered may not be refundable if you change or cancel your booking.

We'll only retain or charge these amounts to the extent they reflect costs actually committed or reasonably incurred.

9. If Mon + Co Cancels

If Mon + Co cancels a service, we'll first work with you to find a suitable alternative date or arrangement where practical.

If we can't provide the service or agree with you on a suitable alternative, we'll refund the amount you've paid for the service that will not be provided.

Where only part of a service or program is affected, we'll work with you on an appropriate solution. This may include rescheduling, providing the outstanding service another way or refunding the relevant undelivered portion.

10. If There Is a Problem With Our Service

If you're unhappy with a service or believe there is a problem, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable so we can understand what has happened.

We'll assess the circumstances and work with you on an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this might include correcting the issue, providing the service again, rescheduling, providing a partial or full refund, or another remedy required by law.

11. Australian Consumer Law

This Refund Policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Where the Australian Consumer Law entitles you to a refund, cancellation or another remedy, those rights apply regardless of anything else in this Refund Policy.

12. How Refunds Are Processed

If a refund is approved or required, we'll generally process it back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Once we've processed the refund, the time it takes to appear in your account will depend on your bank or payment provider.

We'll let you know once the refund has been processed.
