Online Bookings Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026

These Online Booking Terms & Conditions apply when you book or purchase a service from Mon + Co Agency Pty Ltd (ABN 87 658 846 596) through the Mon + Co / The VM Edit website.
They apply to:
-
1-on-1 Video Calls;
-
Keynote Speaker bookings;
-
Half Day In-Store Workshops;
-
Full Day Masterclasses;
-
VM Mentoring – 3 Months;
-
VM Mentoring – 6 Months; and
-
any other service we make available for online booking where these terms are referenced.
By completing a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms, together with our Booking Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Your Booking

Your booking is confirmed once we have accepted the booking and received the payment or deposit required at checkout.
Please make sure the information you provide when booking is accurate, including your contact details and, for in-person services, the event or service location.
The description on the relevant service page explains what is included in your booking.
If we agree to something additional or different in writing, that agreed variation will also form part of your booking.

2. Payment

Prices and payment options will be displayed before you complete your booking.
Depending on the service, payment may be:
-
paid in full when booking;
-
split between a booking deposit and balance payment; or
-
paid through a fixed instalment plan.
Payments made through the website are processed through Wix and Stripe.
You authorise us and our payment provider to process the payments you select at checkout, including scheduled instalments where you choose a payment plan.

3. Deposits & Balance Payments

For Keynotes, Workshops and Masterclasses, a deposit may be required to reserve your date.
The deposit forms part of the total service fee. It is not an additional charge.
Any remaining balance must be paid by the date shown at checkout or in your booking confirmation.
Our current payment and cancellation arrangements are set out in our Booking Policy.

4. VM Mentoring Payment Plans

Our 3-month and 6-month VM Mentoring programs are fixed-term programs.
You may be offered the choice of:
-
paying the full program fee upfront, including any upfront-payment discount shown at checkout; or
-
paying the standard program fee by monthly installments over the program term.
If you choose monthly installments, you are still purchasing the full program.
The installment option is a payment arrangement for the total program fee. It is not a month-to-month membership or cancel-anytime subscription.
For example, selecting 6 monthly installments for the 6-month program means you are committing to the 6-month program and its total fee, subject always to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Failed or Overdue Payments

If a scheduled payment is unsuccessful, we'll give you a reasonable opportunity to update your payment details or arrange payment.
We may pause future sessions or access to the relevant program while an amount remains overdue.
We won't charge an additional late-payment penalty unless this has been separately disclosed and agreed.

6. Rescheduling & Cancellations

We understand that plans change.
The notice periods and cancellation arrangements applicable to each service are set out clearly in our Booking Policy.
Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change a booking. Where practical, we'll try to reschedule the service before treating it as cancelled.
Cancellation charges may apply where we have reserved time that cannot reasonably be rebooked, undertaken preparation, allocated team members or incurred costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.
Nothing in these terms or our Booking Policy affects rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. What We Need From You

To get the most from your booking, we ask that you:
-
attend or be available at the agreed time;
-
provide information we reasonably need to prepare for the service;
-
provide accurate information relevant to the work;
-
participate reasonably in mentoring, workshops or sessions;
-
ensure relevant team members or participants are available where required; and
-
for in-store or on-site work, ensure we have appropriate access to the location and anything reasonably required to deliver the service.
If we cannot provide all or part of a service because required access, information, participants, stock, fixtures or other agreed client requirements aren't available, the booked time may remain chargeable.
If additional work or another visit is required, we'll discuss this with you before arranging it.

8. Keynotes, Workshops & Masterclasses

The scope and format of a Keynote, Workshop or Masterclass will be based on the service purchased and any requirements agreed with you beforehand.
We'll use our experience and judgement in preparing and delivering the session.
Where you request a material change to the agreed scope, timing, location, audience or requirements after booking, we may need to revise the fee, preparation requirements or booking arrangements.
We'll discuss any material additional charge with you before proceeding.

9. Travel & Additional Costs

Travel, accommodation, parking, venue hire, freight, materials and other third-party costs may be additional to the service fee unless expressly stated as included.
Where reasonably practicable, we'll tell you about additional costs before committing them.
Approved third-party costs that have been committed and cannot reasonably be cancelled or recovered remain payable if you subsequently change or cancel the booking.

10. Mentoring

Mentoring is collaborative. We'll bring our retail, visual merchandising and commercial experience to the program, but you'll remain responsible for your own business, career and implementation decisions.
Individual mentoring sessions can be rescheduled in accordance with our Booking Policy.
Unless we specifically agree otherwise, unused sessions don't automatically roll over beyond the agreed program term.
If something significant affects your ability to continue a mentoring program, contact us. We may agree to pause, reschedule or otherwise adjust the program where reasonable in the circumstances.

11. Our Materials & Intellectual Property
We put significant work into our frameworks, presentations, templates, training resources, workshop content and mentoring materials.
Unless we agree otherwise, Mon + Co retains ownership of its existing intellectual property and materials provided as part of a service.
When you purchase a service, you may use materials provided to you for your own personal or internal business purposes.
You must not, without our permission:
-
resell or commercially distribute our materials;
-
publish them publicly;
-
substantially copy them to create a competing course, program, service or resource;
-
share paid resources outside your business or authorised participants; or
-
remove our branding and present our materials as your own.
You remain the owner of materials and information you provide to us.

12. Confidentiality

During mentoring, workshops and other services, you may share information about your business, team, strategy or circumstances.
We'll treat information that is clearly confidential, or would reasonably be understood to be confidential, accordingly and won't intentionally disclose it except where:
-
reasonably necessary to provide the service;
-
you have authorised us to do so;
-
it is already public other than through our breach;
-
we need professional advice; or
-
disclosure is required by law.
You should treat any non-public Mon + Co materials or information provided to you on the same basis.

13. Photos, Recording & Testimonials

We won't automatically record 1-on-1 or mentoring calls.
If a session is to be recorded, we'll let participants know.
We may also ask for permission to use photographs, video, reviews or testimonials from our work for Mon + Co or The VM Edit marketing.
Where appropriate, we'll obtain consent before using identifiable client or participant content for promotional purposes.

14. Results

Our services are designed to provide practical experience, strategy, education, mentoring and visual merchandising expertise.
However, every business, store and person is different.
We don't guarantee a particular sales result, financial outcome, career outcome, customer response or other commercial result from participating in a service.
You remain responsible for decisions you make and how you implement the ideas, recommendations and materials provided.
This does not affect any guarantee or right that applies under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Changes by Mon + Co

Occasionally illness, travel disruption, availability or another unexpected circumstance may require us to change the person delivering a service, the format of a session or the scheduled date.
Where reasonable, we'll provide a suitably experienced replacement or work with you to arrange another date.
If we cancel a service and cannot provide the service or agree on a reasonable alternative, we'll provide the applicable refund or other remedy in accordance with our Refund Policy and Australian Consumer Law.

16. Online & Third-Party Platforms

Some services may be delivered using third-party technology such as Google Meet, Wix, Stripe or other platforms.
We aren't responsible for temporary outages or technical problems with independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
If a technical issue materially prevents a Mon + Co session from proceeding, we'll work with you to find a practical solution, which may include rescheduling.

17. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with rights and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
Among other things, applicable consumer guarantees require services to be provided with due care and skill, to be fit for an applicable disclosed purpose, and to be provided within a reasonable time where no time has been agreed. (ACCC)
Nothing in these terms, our Booking Policy or Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
If there is a problem with a service, the remedy available will depend on the circumstances and the Australian Consumer Law. This may include having the problem rectified, cancellation, a refund or compensation where applicable. (ACCC)

18. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, each party is responsible for loss or damage caused by its own acts or omissions.
Mon + Co isn't responsible for:
-
business decisions you make independently after receiving our services;
-
outcomes affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control;
-
loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us; or
-
failures of third-party systems or services outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable liability under the Australian Consumer Law.

19. Separate Client Agreements

These terms are designed for services purchased through our online booking system.
If Mon + Co and a client enter into a separate written proposal, Statement of Work or client agreement for a project, that agreement will apply to that project and will take priority over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

20. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and manage personal information provided through bookings, forms, payments and our services.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our services or business change.
The terms applying to your purchase are those made available to you when your booking or purchase is made. We won't retrospectively change the material terms of an existing booking simply by publishing new website terms.

22. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available under applicable consumer legislation.
